I've recently had the pleasure of photographing a quaint elopement style wedding local to the Asbury Park area that concluded with a luncheon at the AP Rooftop.

A bit of backstory before diving in for anybody who cares to read;

This past October I had photographed a wedding at The Columns and had been contacted on short notice by that couple regarding availability for an elopement style wedding for a family member of theirs. The soon to be newlyweds had planned to be married in the fall-time but the groom (who was in the Navy) had work that would intervene. Not the type of couple who would let something like this postpone their plans, they excitedly moved the date of the wedding up. Fast forward to the day after Valentines day, Katie and Matt had a ceremony just a couple of blocks away from where they first met in Bradley beach.

The staff at AP Rooftop are exceptionally accommodating and professional. Their attention to detail ensures that every event runs smoothly, allowing me to focus on capturing candid moments. The venue’s aesthetic is a perfect blend of sophistication and comfort with a couple photogenic locations within the venue itself. The bar at AP Rooftop is a highlight in itself. Guests can enjoy a curated selection of cocktails crafted by skilled bartenders. The drink menu is diverse, catering to a wide range of tastes, and the presentation is excellent.

Natural light floods the space, with much of the seating juxtaposed besides massive floor-to-ceiling windows. With the venue being very conveniently located right on the boardwalk and next to Convention Hall, it was an easy decision to snap a handful of fun pictures mid snowstorm with the couple.

In summary, Asbury Park Rooftop combines stunning visuals, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for couples seeking a memorable venue for wedding photography.
